A Fight with No Reason. Dear Andrea,
I am from the Philippines. :]
I'm having this problem at school.
My old friends suddenly got mad at me for some reason. I tried asking them why but they just won't tell. I'm starting to feel they're insecure about me. Or I did something wrong. (But as far as I know, I never did anything to offend them or anything.)
I tried to make friends with them again, even if I don't know their purpose of being mad. But they keep saying they can never forgive me. I don't understand them.
What should I do?
I really want to retain back our friendship.
xoxo,
Ida

Hi Ida :)
Well, I'm assuming you recently made some new friends, considering you referred to these people as "old friends".
If this is the case, their probably jealous because they miss you and feel replaced. When people make friends with a new group of people, they get excited. It's change, that's exciting. But a lot of the time they focus on these new friendships and loose track of the old. It's understandable. It's also understandable that your old friends are sad about it.
Again, IF the whole "making new friends" IS the case, here is what I would do in your situation:
I would write a letter to all of them explaining to them that you think the reason they've all been upset with you is because you've made them feel like they've been replaced, which your sorry you did, but those weren't your intentions. Then explain how you just got so caught up in the excitement of new people, that you lost track of other important things in your life. Then tell them how much their friendship means to you and you wouldn't be who you are today without them. Remind them how much you care :)
I hope I helped! ]
