I suggest the website called The Sitter's Weekly.

It's a free online guide to babysitting - includes advertising advice, babysitting rates, flyer ideas, how to handle the children, etc.

It's located at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

You need to try where they hire mostly teenagers. A movie theatre is perfect as they're always losing staff and hiring again once kids hit school. It's best to try now as everyone will want that gig come April. Try also the food court at the mall or fast-food outlets, pizza stores and that kind of thing.

As far as baby-sitting goes get an accredited course done at a library or parks and recreation and earn your CPR certification. After you do that parents will trust you with their kids and see you can handle emergencies. After that you can put up posters on library bulletin boards, schools, YMCA etc.

Paper routes are a pain in the ass. You have to assemble all the inserts, TV guides and get them out by 8 a.m. or have complaint after complaint from people. You have to do this in rain and shine. If you have to resort to this do the weekly paper that is for your area only. Pay's the pits for the amount of work it takes.

Why must you save money to get to school? Won't someone take you? Can't you inform someone at the school of your dilemma and arrange carpool or a steady ride? The bus can't be the only way. Why aren't your parents helping you get there? You need to go over this with teachers, counselors, parents to get a better solution I think.

There has to be monthly passes and student passes for transit that goes near your school. It shouldn't be that much but then again you were vague on why you need all that money for a bus to and from school.
