When I needed money around Christmas time I pawned my saxophone, and although I didn't get much for it, it covered what I needed. That's really the only thing you could do, accept get a job or do yardwork/babysit for someone. [ amygwen's advice column | Ask amygwen A Question ]

Many people want their windows cleaned, but have a hard time getting housekeepers to do windows. You could charge by the window. $8 a window, perhaps?
Andreaaaa answered Wednesday March 4 2009, 6:00 pm: Do small side jobs. Depending on wear you live...you could shovel snow, mow lawns, walk dogs!, pet sit (like babysitting for people who are on vacation, which would be good about now considering Spring break is coming up)
Once you can think of other side jobs to do, good advertising methods would be to of course have your friends/family spread the word around, post up flyers at your local grocery store, ext., If you have a myspace or something of that sort you could advertise there.
