So there's this guy I know from another school. One day, he was texting me about how he didn't have a date to an upcoming school dance. Without thinking, I said, "take me!" So then he asked me. However, he's soooo annoying! He acts like he's ghetto and he's not and when he texts me he says stuff like "eeyyyyy yoo wusss good." and stuff like that. It drives me nuts. I've hung out with him once in the summer, and he can be fun and chill when he's not acting like he's ghetto, but he does it to impress me, and it doesn't impress me at all! I don't really want to go to the dance with him anymore, but I can't say no after I told him to take me, so what should I do?

And if he agrees then take him to the dance and give him a chance you might end up liking him, but if he does not want to stop being ghetto then explain you can not go with him and you dont like the way he is behaving. he should understand your views and take them into consideration. This should make you realize if you like him or not!

You could either sit down with him and tell him that you really like him but you think he tries to hard to impress you or you could go to the dance and stick it out. If you think he tries to be someone he is not then you should sit down with him and tell him that he doesn't need to try to impress you because you like him for who he is and not what he trys to be. If someone kept texting me a (eeeeeeey! yo wuts good!) Personally it would drive me insane lol. Anyway, I think you should try talking to him maybe he doesn't realize he goes overboard sometimes. ;)
