keeping him occupied 17/f
my boyfriend has been having some health problems this week with his heart and he's been in an out of the hospital and can't go back to school for a while but in the meantime he's stuck at home and has run out of things to do. He's tired and can't do any real physical activity so all he's been doing is sleeping, eating and watching tv and hes bored. I've been to his house everyday just to keep him company and watch movies with him.
I want to come up with some things for him to do.
Any activities that don't require a lot of movement or energy??

I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. :^( I hope he gets better. Well, theres always video games. Some that are pretty addicting and VERY calm are Sims2 for PC, Havest Moon for Game Cube, and Animal Crossing for Game Cube. You both can also learn something new together. Like you can find a websute that teaches you how to play an instrument. Like you both can learn to play guitar or something. Thats all i got right now. Hope that helped. :^) ]
The age old entertainment that comes from coloring, doing word puzzles, reading a good book, or any other relaxing activity.
While some videogames can be fun, they may cause stress on his part, so I'd keep the games simple, especially if he's a competitive person.
My ex boyfriend had a pretty bad heart condition after an accident he was in, and he enjoyed doing the simple things: reading, surfing the web, coloring with me (I love coloring books, so he'd do it to keep me happy), writing, playing his guitar, etc.
Remember, though: he does need his rest so he can feel better.
You're being a really sweet girlfriend. Maybe invite some friends over and you guys can play card games or boardgames... :)
I hope he feels better. ]
Now is the time he needs to be alittle 'bored' so his body can rest.
See if you can borrow vidio game units and games for him to play with. A computer would connected to the internet would be another way to game, read, blog, etc. and keep him connected. Then there are the old board games you can play. Don't underestimate the entertainment value of reading.
Don't be a lone ranger. Encourage his friends to drop by too, so the entertainment isn't all on your shoulders. ]
