Make up ?

Question Posted Saturday February 14 2009, 8:42 pm

HI!

Well. I really want to know what types of colors would look good on me.. like in eyeshadow , blush.. and etc. I am really just started wearing makeup...I am 13 and I don't really no all that much about makeup. Well... I have blond hair (golden or like ash blonde..) and blue eyes. Any tips and stuff would help. Thanks!

I find that natural colors look the best. If you use actual colors (blue, green...) for eyeshadows, you'll just look weird lol, like clownish (I knew a girl who wore make-up that was like blue-purple shimmer and it just looked so awful!). Im 16 and I generally wear a nice skin tone shadow, with a little shimmer in it.

However, I start my make-up by washing my face first to rid the oils and such. After, I take a little cover up on a make-up sponge, and dab and rub it in on my eyes to conceal the purpley vains. Then I just put on my eyeshadow with a make-up brush, not those swabs they give you with eyeshadow. Once I'm done with that, I put on a little black mascara on my top and bottom lashes. Then I just put on concealer and coverup with a little bit of powder.

A lot of girls choose to wear eyeliner, and a lot of girls also put waaaaay too much on. So, what I do, sometimes, is use brown eyeliner, of no particular brand, lift my eyelid a little and darken my upper lids, just like you would do if you were to darken your bottom lids. I usually wear brown, never black, because it looks too harsh and it generally looks bad on me. But everyone's different

You'll find what you like if you exeriment a little. That's what I did. And as your face matures, you'll be able to wear make-up that's a little more dramatic. Just experiment and you'll find something you like. But my advice to you would be start by using natural colors.

Hope I helped!

Pick make up that matches your skin tone AND outfit. If you're looking for specific colors,it's best if you wear golden eyeshadow or something shimmery.I mean, you don't want to stand out too much.As for blush, according to your skin. But remember-don't put on too much make up-it will make you look bad.Hope I helped.

For eyeshadow browns looks really nice and it beings out your eye color. Go to wal mart, and I forget what kind of make up brand, but they have make that matches the color of your eyes. I hope I helped!
