MAK answered Saturday February 21 2009, 12:18 am: I have the same problem. What I do is lay flat on my back, and then put my hand on my lower stomach (below the navel) and lift up my legs (bent, so that your lower back doesn't come off the floor) and feel when my stomach muscles feel hardest, and let my legs be at that angle, and stay like that for 30 seconds, then 20, then 15, and then for 10, for 9, and like that down to five. Also, if you put your legs apart (again, bent at the knee) it works your sides as well.
Just a note, you WILL feel ridiculous doing it, so do it in private =P
I always do it right before bed, and when I wake up my body looks a bit more toned up (and probably because I haven't eaten for 8-10 hours because I was sleeping), and it just helps keep you motivated to do it.

So babies don't rip out of our stomachs when we actually do get pregnant! Not to give you a gross visual or anything. (; It's really honestly just a little pouch every girl has (unless she does some crazy toning!) so that when you get pregnant, your tummy gives a little bit of extra something to protect your baby. As for the love handles.. Do you mean hips? Girls are generally curvy, after all.. (;
Don't worry about it! [ lostnatalie78's advice column | Ask lostnatalie78 A Question ]
TheTruth answered Sunday February 15 2009, 4:32 am: People store fat in random places, it's genetic. I'm a little overweight and I store it all in my stomach and my chest, but my arms are defined like a body builder or something. You can do exercises that focus on those areas if you want to define them a little more, but you will always struggle with those areas (sorry to be the one to break it to you). At your weight and age, I wouldn't try to lose weight. Try doing side and regular crunches. Side crunches are just when you put your legs normal but your body sideways and try to do crunches sideways. Let me know if you don't understand and I'll try and find you a link.
