Question Posted Thursday February 12 2009, 10:23 pm

I need more volunteer hours. Is there any places that would let a 15 year old volunteer?

Try your local:

- Animal shelters.
- Libraries.
- Daycare centers.

Go in, talk to the boss/owner and explain to them that you need volunteer hours and I'm sure somebody will be able to help you out.

Also, does your school have a tutoring program? I know my school does, and kids tutor other kids after school and get volunteer hours for it a few times a week.

The senior center is always looking for help. I've done 40 hours with them this year.

Also, does your school have a Leo Club? They do community service projects all the time. Ask your guidance office or principal.
