Betrayed
I went out with this amazing guy a month ago. Or at least, I thought so at the time. We only dated a month because we both thought it wasn't working out. Well now, a month later, he's telling people we had sex. I'm only fourteen, a freshman in highschool, and this is ruining my reputation. People are now thinking I'm a whore. I know for a fact he started the rumor, because my brother was in the room when he said it. He was not kidding around, he was bragging about it. My brother and I are best friends, and he's the only person I completely trust, and I have a difficult time trusting people. So, obviously, my brother was very pissed that this boy would do this to me. I confronted this boy and asked him and he's denying it! I can't even believe he would try to deny it, considering my brother was able to tell me word for word what this boy said. I was so hurt and crushed and felt terrible. So obviously, I first went to my friends. All of them had the same reaction. "I'm going to kill him!". Well, I was talking to one specific friend, and she wanted to know his phone number so she could call him and tell him off. I didn't give it to her because I deleted it from my phone, but she some how got it and talked to him for the first time in her life. He denies it to her, and she COMPLETELY believes him! And on top of that, she said to me "It's not really that big of a deal" which is BULL because i'm NOT a whore! I'm a virgin, and this boy is ruining my reputation for his own benefit and it's crushing me and this girl tells me "I trust him more then I've trusted anyone in a long time". I am beyond pissed off. I don't know what I am right now, but it's worse then anything I've ever felt. She kept saying "Honey, it's not that big of a deal" and after we stopped talking, she actually set her myspace status to "Honey, i'm done". Like she'd completely given up on me. This hurts me the most, because she has a habit of blowing things way out of proportion and coming to me to whine about it almost every day, and it feels like she's being a MAJOR hippocrit to me. I just don't know what to do, my rep is ruined, one of my bestfriends is mad at me when she doesn't even have a good reason to be, and quite frankly, I feel completely betrayed. Help me, I just want to be happy again :(

this exact same thing happened to me ...
it just shows that she is not your friend...even if you think she is or you've been friends forever...shes not....
people at this age are just immature...not saying you...but boys will say anything to attract attention to themselves and girls will believe anything to feel attractive and wanted...
just try to ignore everyone that's acting immature...be the adult...i know its hard to when it seems everyone is talking behind your back but eventually they move on to another stupid rumor...
i cant even count the rumors ive had about me...pretty crazy ones...
all that matters is that you know what you did and didn't do...only you know who you truly are...
just try to forget about everyone and hang out with friends go out talk on the phone talk online...do anything to keep your mind off of the situation...don't let the get to you...its not worth the emotional pain...
