So...My boyfriend and I had sex the other night. I got off birth control about two months ago and now if somethin happens, hes pressed on getting Plan B. I took it the other night (feb 7). We had sex again last night and he wants to get it again. He never came inside me...and Im supposed to start my period in a few days! I already ovulated this month according to the ovulating calander (they said anywhere from the 21st tul 29th) so i dont think i could get pregnant...but would you suggest I go out and buy the Morning After Pill??
Then, you should go and get a box of condoms. Or go to the doctor and get a shot of Depo Provera. Or birth control pills.
Plan B is, as I'm sure you know, very hard on your body. It's fantastic as an emergency contraceptive, but not made for everyday use.
The best bet is to be protected all the time.
Personally, if you're not going to try to have children for a while, I'd suggest Depo. It's a needle once every 3 months, you don't get your period, and it's more effective than the pill, since it's mistake-proof. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

its not birth control...
i mean if you have to use it then do...but please try going on some kind of birth control or using condoms...
there are so many types of birth control and if your trying to keep it a secret from your parents or if you don't have insurance there are many clinics that will give you birth control, condoms, and test you...for really cheap...and sometimes free.... She is an idiot. Complete, total, utter idiot.
Yes, go out, and get one right now.
You are most fertile right before and right after you ovulate, but you continue to be fertile until after your period starts. It is possible to get pregnant AFTER your period starts.
ohitscassidy answered Monday February 9 2009, 6:00 pm: DO NOT TAKE IT, im saying this because your not suppose to take it that close to each other, trust me i did and i ended up with really bad pains in my upper stomach and i had to go to the hospital don't do it and it can mess up your period and make you late if you take it that close, if he didn't cum in you your probably not pregnant wait and see what happens if you don't get your period a week later when your suppose to then thats the time to worry, but right now you haven't missed it so don't worry about it, just don't take the pill that close in time. Go to your doctor if anything and get there advise what to do in your situation [ ohitscassidy's advice column | Ask ohitscassidy A Question ]
BrittBritt answered Monday February 9 2009, 5:44 pm: Plan B would just be extra safe if you don't want to get pregnant. You're ovulation has a chance of being out of whack for one reason or another.
I would suggest to get Plan B if you're not looking to get pregnant. Just to be extra safe =] [ BrittBritt's advice column | Ask BrittBritt A Question ]
