Buy a picture frame, put a picture of your mom and you in it, and then decorate it. It's a cheap and personal gift that I'm sure she'll love.

Other than that, you can:
- Get her flowers.
- Make her cookies.
- Make her a mix CD with all of her favorite songs.
- Clean the house for her.
- Make her breakfast in bed.
- Make her a card (though, you should do this even if you do something else!)

ou, thats not a lot of money lOl.
try making a collage or something, that's what i did and she loved it. like print a few pictures about things she likes and put them together on a big carton or something. if you dont have one you can glue two pieces of paper together to make them more stabile and then tape them together to get a bigger sheet.

it could look something like that in the end, only with different pics lOl.
good luck!

If you're on a serious budget I'd hit up the dollar store, and just get her an interesting gadget, but if you can spare a few more bucks breakfast or lunch at a diner would probably turn out to be quite nice.

Anytime you set to spend with your mommy will be cherished, because I'm sure that she remembers being 14 not to long ago.
