i keep getting purple lines down my knuckles and have no idea what it is;
i am also getting red blotches with really pale rings round them.
I am only young and at first i let it pass but now it keeps coming back and looking at my knuckles make me feel sick.
Soo; does anyone know what it could be.
It is probably something pathetic and me just taking it to far
but BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY ;)
itdependsonyoux3 answered Sunday February 8 2009, 9:50 pm: You may have a form of ringworm that is called ...
Tinea corporis: When fungus affects the skin of the body, it often produces the round spots of classic ringworm. Sometimes, these spots have an "active" outer border as they slowly grow and advance. It is important to distinguish this rash from other even more common rashes, such as nummular eczema. This condition, and others, may appear similar to ringworm, but they are not due to a fungal infection and require different treatment. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
-look at this website and compare it to what happens with your skin. I suggest telling your parents or go to a doctor, just to be on the safe side.
your purple lines are probably caused from stress and anxiety, but nonetheless, I would make your parents aware of this and see a doctor. But don't worry I'm sure you're fine, no worries. Just talk to you parents :]

Every year around the time I was diagnosed I get red blothches EVERYWHERE! It's part of the disease. Purple knuckles sometimes is a symptom of anxiety. Hope I helped.
