Guys

Question Posted Sunday February 1 2009, 1:39 am

14/f

Ok so I have this boyfriend and he is the same age as me, so he is definitely an immature guy. Most guys my age are. This is just a curious question. I don't know why but every guy I've liked were so immature but I liked it. Because they made me laugh. I know most guys are immature and will always be but some guys I know don't act like that. Its just weird because most girls complain and stuff like, "he is so immature" But I like it? I don't get whats up with that. Sorry for this stupid question but I was just curious. Thanks!

I love this question. my boyfriend is 20 years old and still acts like a total idiot...and i love him for it. if thats the way you like him...then so be it. most women/girls want to grow up so fast and i think thats wrong. thats why girls are like " he is so immature".

I hope i helped,
Sydney

I know what you mean.
My ex was immature too, and we joked around quite a lot.
But the immaturity is fun to a certain extent.
If guys start laughing at words like ''boobs'' or won't take anything seriously, then it pisses girls off.
If he's too immature then you can't be serious with a guy. It's more like your younger brother. If you want to maintain a relationship with a guy, he has to have his serious side, and know that he shouldn't take things too far with childish jokes and pranks.
Like, a close guy friend of mine is very, very, very f*cking immature. In Biology classes he had a laughing breakdown when the teacher talked about intercourse, semen, testes or menstrual cycle. I mean come on, that's too far. And he's 16. He's had girlfriends in the past, but he acts like a child 75% of the time, so it is hard to be serious with him.

However, if you joke around with a guy, have laughs, love Spongebob or whatever, it's fine, as long as you know the limit and can take things seriously when needed ;)

Considering that you're 14, then yeah, guys are a lot more immature than they are at my age (16) but they'll grow out of it, and you may grow out of loving immaturity.

I hope this made sense... :P

Nothing's wrong with it. You guys sound like you have a similar sense of humour and that's good.
Some poeple just aren't fond of immaturity in relationships.. but I say as long as you're both serious when you need to be, that's fine.
I'm 20 and still love the good old laugh and play fight every now and then :P
