Should I...

Question Posted Friday January 30 2009, 6:47 am

Sorry so long but you have to know the story Please read and help! Ok I am 13 year old girl and I really need some help. I dont have long so here it goes. There is this boy in my class and i have known him for a while but never really like liked him, now I do. Now my BFF is in my class too and I found out about a month ago that he likes her! She also likes him! Now we (BFF, Me, Him and a few other friends) went to the mall one Saturday for Bff's B-day and I spent the night at her house that night, she later told us that he is annoying because he is always nervous and he is never close to her and she has to "drag" him around and hes not "romantic", she said she doesnt really like him any more but I am NOT sure about that. No one knows I like him. Now my BFF has almost been missing from school for about a week and me and him have been flirting A LOT. We have a great time together and laugh and smile so much. All this week I have been feeling more and more that he might like me and i think he does but i am not sure. I will be with him all day Today and Saturday (tomorrow). So what should I do I dont want to ruin my friendship but I dont want to go without him knowing. Hurry I really need some advice!

From experience: ALWAYS choose the friend. Once that friend has NEVER betrayed or hurt you, ALWAYS choose her.
The guy could break your heart and the guy and you COULD never be friends without the awkwardness if you guys ever break up.

Talk to her about it. Tell her that you kinda like him and you want to know where they stand. You want to know how she feels about him. If she says 'i don't like him, it's fine' in a shy way....she's LYING.

I'd normally say GO FOR IT, but do you want to lose her friendship?!
--Good luck

This is a tough one. But it just takes asking yourself one question: whose relationship is worth more to you. Yes you're 13 so there are more important people that are going to come into your life and enrich it in ways you never thought possible. But for now, ask yourself the question: who would I want by my side long term? Can you see yourself being with this guy for a long time? is he someone you could see yourself loving? Or is your friend and really good one and you see yourself and her sticking through thick and thin?

I know it's tough but you'll know in your heart what is right to do. But seriously don't stress too much about it, whatever you choose it will not be the end of the world so just remember that

Good luck!

This boils down to a question you need to answer yourself:

Which one of them is more important to you?
