Here are some symptons:
1)Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms.
2)Pain or difficulty with swallowing.
3)Fever over 101F. Lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.
4)Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
5)White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils
6)Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat.
if you have any of those symptoms I suggest you see a doctor so they can perscribe you some medicine. But i'd make sure that you for sure had it because doctors cost like 586856586 dollars.
Erinn_the_bamf answered Tuesday January 20 2009, 5:55 pm: It could be just a sore throat, it could be strep, it could be an infection. If you've been experiencing symptoms this long, you really should see a doctor. Strep does not necessarily come along with other symptoms, so you really need to get checked out.
