I'm really bad at presenting and I don't think I'll overcome it before I graduate high school.
My face goes red, I can feel my face burning, which makes my throat suddenly go dry and raspy and so I have to talk more quietly so keep whatever smoothness and moisture in my voice/mouth I have left. When I try to talk louder (counts for marks), it just sounds really bad so my face gets redder from embarrassment. Then the longer I’m up there and feel my face getting hotter, my eyes start to water and then OH it’s so embarrassing!
Plus, multi-tasking: breathing while talking, while focusing to not focus on the eyes starring at you, focusing to remember to make eye contact, thinking if you're doing good at the moment, trying to make sure the words don't go all blurry on me, trying to prevent my face from going any redder. And don’t forget the looks of pity on everyone’s face for you when you’re done presenting.
Well we have a slide show presentation and my teacher is so nice; she said that if anyone has any issues with presenting, speak to her. She’s the nicest teacher ever. And I think that I should finally take the chances that are given to me and present. She told us about how she hated presenting and when she explained it, it sounded exactly like me. I mean, how good can I do if I try to present in front of a good teacher that gives me a choice instead of a mean teacher that tells you to suck it up and get it over with? Probably better.
I will present to the class even if I mess up miserably and make a fool out of myself and burst out crying.
Sorry for hearing this rent but please, just anything, tips, motivate lines, comments, would help. Thank you.

You sound just like me. I too have alot of problems presenting. I have stage fright lol and i have all those symptoms. Just recently i had to present. By myself unfortunately my partner wasnt here. And what i try to do it, I stand in a comfortable position. Most teachers tell you Don't Slouch or Don't lean on the wall, so I just stand a certain way so i feels like i'm leaning on my foot. Also, I try to look around.... but not eye contact, just glance up once in a while... Hopefully, your classmates aren';t immature, because that makes things even harder. Just think of how you can get it overwith. Denying to go up attracts more attention that you going up and getting your grade lol. Hope I helped.
