I'm doing a project for college on romantic relationships and their characteristics. As part of it, I'd like to ask the following question: Do you and your significent other have a song? If so, what is it and why is it important to you both?

Well, my ex boyfriend and I had the song,
Red hot chili peppers: I could die for you.
It was both of our favorite band, and I kept telling him how much i love that song, and he said it was liek us, because it just was. [the lyrics and all] and we made it our song. He learned how to play it on his guitar and played it for me when I was at his house. it was cute :]

This one is kind of lame, but my boyfriend and my song is All coming back to me by celine dion because we were boyfriend and girlfriend in seventh grade (or atleast we thought we were haha) and then we got back together when we were freshmen in college. :)

I have been with my girlfriend for 2 years now and our song is Akon- Dont Matter. That song came out right around the time we started dating and it made both of us think about each other. It also applies to us because we are both females so it is a lesbian relationship and for me it kinda makes me think about that because the lyrics are "No body wanna see us together, but it dont matter, no... Cause I got you babe" and being that gay relationships are not totally accepted yet it kinda makes me feel like it applies to us even more.

iv bin with my bf just over a year now, we are ingaged but wont be getting married any time soon. anyway we have a song, and it's phill collins, you'll be in my heart xx it's such a special song to us and has a meaning to us cos it's like it's saying all of our feelings and promises to each other. it's also sayin that we love each other and no matter what life throws at us we will be there for each other, we trust each other and want to be together for a long time. its a shong of dedication and romance in a relationship. xx

I'm in my 30's, he's in his 40's, and we have been togethre for nearly ten years. We do not have one specific song, but there are a few that we always smile when we hear because of the memories. The one that comes to mind right now is Puddle of Mud-"Can You Take it All Away". I can only speak for myself, but it reminds me of the beginning of our relationship when we where both on the rebound from others, yet falling in love with eachother against our better judgement.
