Most guys arent bothered at all about what it looks like. Keeping it tidy is always good though - its not necessary to shave it all off!

Most guys are just happy to get there.
Guys are way more visceral than girls. Of course there is usually a preference (shaven seems to be popular among the young adult set) I still don't know one straight guy who would turn down a girl over her choice of "style"

it's really just guys personal preference. I would say most guys wouldn't want you to just leave it alone. If you want to play it safe I'd shave it, and if you meet a guy and he doesn't like it he'd probably tell you.

My girl and I both prefer as little as possible.
A beard trimmer will cost you under 20 at Wal Mart, and gives you a way to keep the bush tame without ever having razorburn or ingrown hairs from shaving.
Plus, when you get bored and decide you want to see what it looks like when you shave it in the shape of a bonsai tree, you'll have the tools ready at hand.
