I have been playing volleyball for 2 or 3 years now, working my muscles all the time and I got a little sore after I did 3!!! (when your muscles are sore that to me means they are growing haha) also, start taking some vitamins, and stick with the daily pushups (even though they may not seem effective yet, soon you will develope the ability to actually do a push up, and then gradually over time be able to do more and more) its also good to go to the park and even though this sounds childish- use the monkey bars, that will definetly help you. or if you go to a gymnist class, they can make you climb ropes and latters etc. Good Luck! hope I helped! ps, also take some nutrition bars and protein bars and power bars to help you boost up! :-) [ xosodapopx3's advice column | Ask xosodapopx3 A Question ]
masterclinic answered Monday January 5 2009, 7:50 pm: I like to work out my bicep's by using dumbbells. When i first started working out i started off with 15's but i had a little muscle. Maybe you should start off with 10's do 10 with each arms sitting down (Doing these while sitting is alot harder then standing up). Do as many sets as you can and dont wait so long in between sets try to do them as fast as possible. And when you can do 8 sets then go up some weight ( 15 to 20 20 to 25) Eventually you will be doing 35's maybe even 40's if you stick with it. As for triceps you can hold yourself up close to a bench and go down then back up ( i hope you know what i mean its tough to explain) start off by doing 10 and as many sets as you can. When you get to be doing 5 sets start doing 20 and when you can do 5 sets of 25 then find a workout with weights unless your happy with the size of your triceps. Good Luck [ masterclinic's advice column | Ask masterclinic A Question ]
