Sleepover for new years

Ok so i might have one of my friends stay over for new years! She is so excited to go but im kind of scared....this is the first time that im only having ONE friend over. usually i have multiples of friends stay over.i always thought that help..so im scared because im the quiet one.sometimes i wont know what to do or say...theres a new years party at our hs just to let you know.can you help me?!?:)

The only way it'd be awkward is if you make it awkward. Sounds dumb, but its true.
Go to the high school new years party and after its done just head back to your place and chill. Watch a movie. The same things you'd do if you had multiple friends stay over, just this time, its one person.
Don't worry. You guys are suppose to have a good time and party, don't let the one friend thing ruin your night :)

Why not go to the new years party at the high school. Then go back to your house watch movies snack on food or pizza. etc.
