Tanning.
I'm about to begin tanning at a Planet Tan. I haven't signed up yet, but am planning on doing so within the next week. I was wondering if there is a certain age limit on tanning. (I'm 17). What do I need to bring when I tan? What do I need to wear? Would it matter if I have makeup on or not? Do you get sweaty? Are the lotions they offer really necessary, and if so, is there anywhere else I can get them so theyre cheaper?

Theres no age limit.
You can bring anything you want, you can lay in your bra and underwear, or you can lay nude. You don't nescessarily need to bring anything. I'm not sure if I would wear make up, each time I'e wore make up in the tanning bed, its either burnt my face, or I got acne/rash. The sweatyness? Your going to sweat if this is your first time laying. Your going to sweat each time you lay. Especially if the bed has good bulbs. The lotions they offer aren't nescessary. You can bring regular lotion, or cocoa butter lotion, anything to moisturize your legs before you lay in the tanning bed. You may also want to bring face moisturizer, it can prevent your face from drying out. You can buy tanning lotion anywhere. Sallys, Walmart, Ebay, you name it, you can buy it.

Basically you dont need to bring anything.
You can wear shorts. bathingsuit. underwear. bra.
or you can wear nothing.
um i dont not think it would matter if you wore
makeup. but just to be on the safe side i wouldnt.
because it might screw the tan up on your face wear the makeup is.

age for the tanning. but if you are under a certain age then you need to have a parent sign

like whenever i go to a tanning bed i usually put on some tanning oil. and you can buy that basically anywhere. from rite aid to walmart.
you can buy that anywhere.
oh and the by the way...
when you just start tanning.
just so you dont get burnt.
like start out at 5 minute.
and then every 2 days add another 5 minutes.
just so that your skin will get used to the tanning beds rays. and it is also safe that way too.

Well no there isn't an age limit, but when you fill ot the papers, you will need a 18 year old parent/guardian to come with, & sign. (Just the first time you go, though) You don't really need to bring anything, unless you have eye wear, that you will need to tan. If you don't have a pair, they do have them on sale there, & they're like 3 dollars. You should wear something comfortable, so that it's easy to get ouit of when you are going into the bed. I suggest you don't wear a bra & panties when you tan, I think it's better nude. It doesn't matter if you wear make-up, but it's better not to, because it may cause a diffenece in the color of you body tan & then your face since you'll have it on your face. Also, no you don't get sweaty, there is a fan inside the bed, that prevents you from that, it's very nice and relaxing. The lotions they have are okay, but yes very expensive, I usually use a body lotion for myself, just like my victoria's secret one. But what's speacial about theirs is that they have bronzer in them & so you'll get darker, faster. & so if you don't want to but them there, go to wal-mart, or even walgreens has them there, & for very cheap, as low as like 4 dollars. DO NO WEAR OIL IN THE BED ! You'll get burnt, and also the bed will get all oily & such.
I go tanning a lot, so I have some expirence, but yeah that's about it.
