Cutting out junk foods such as soda and desserts form your diet takes a lot of willpower but doing so really cuts down on fats you are putting into your body. It also makes you healthier. Also try to avoid foods high in carbohydrates, such as breads and pasta. Drink as much water as possible. Not only is it healthy and a good alternative to soda and juice, it has no sugar, no calories, and can help you lose weight. Instead of eating three meals a day, try eating five smaller meals. As long as you keep them fairly small this will help to speed up your metabolism. As for exercise, the most important thing is trying to do something every day. It doesn't have to be anything big. Something as simple as walking your dog, going roller skating, or taking the steps instead of the elevator can really help. There are some workout tapes that are designed to give you results fast. I personally use and recommend any of the beachbody videos, esp. turbo jam and hip hop abs. The turbo jam workout program can burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour and hip hop abs is a fun way to get a six pack while feeling like you're dancing. However, these tapes can be fairly expensive and if you aren't looking to spend money, any cardio exercise will do the trick just as well, they just might take more time to show results. If you really dislike exercising try finding things to do that will not only help you get fit but that will also provide fun like going to the pool or dancing. A great way to have more fun working out is to invite friends. If you do all these things you should be losing weight in no time but you have to stay dedicated or they won't work. Good luck. First of all, only eat when you're hungry. NEVER eat just because you're bored or just for the heck of it.
Secondly, work out. Make it part of your daily schedule.
And, of course, eat healthy.
Hopefully this will work...
and I hope I helped! (: [ SunshineGirl0325's advice column | Ask SunshineGirl0325 A Question ]
