so i'm getting my nose pierced this friday (december 19th) and i was wondering on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful, what is it? also, i have my ears, cartalidge, lower cartalidge and belly button done, if you have any of these pierced can you compare the pain to a nose piercing. thanks!

And I do think that the nose was the worst to be honest. I think its just cause its such a sensitive area but once the needle goes the the pain automatically goes away. The healing process is a little long. It took 6 months for mine to heal and it wasnt even infected or anything. And it killlsss when you lik bump it or somehting and its not healed yet. Mine is healed now so its fine I can take it out and put it back in and it doesnt hurt a bit. But like I said i think its because its such a sensitive area. And my eyes teared a little when I got it done but the lady said that happens to pretty much everyone because of the area. Hope I helped.
P.S- I do think that it was the most painful out of all my piercings but it definately wasnt unbearable or anything. I would rate it a 6. [ elw5039's advice column | Ask elw5039 A Question ]
electrocutie18 answered Monday December 15 2008, 8:31 pm: i had my ears pierced (when i was a little girl) then i had my nose pierced (just last year in october but in a foreign country) then this year i had my belly button pierced. honestly it doesnt hurt one bit, it didnt hurt me at all! i actually think my belly button piercing hurt more because im skinny and the guy doing it said it was hard grabbing my belly button. i had my nose done with a needle and it was like a 3 at first then the pain went away lol. so good luck! have a hand to hold when you go in just in case :)!!!
