heel pain

i jumped from a fence and landed straight down on my heel and it hurt really bad and i could barely walk the rest of the night. for then next couple days i walked on my tip toes and my heel stopped hurting and so then i started walking normal and now like all around my ankle is swollen and my foot throbs and i dont know what is wrong or what to do. i do have a doctors appointment scheduled but i want to know before hand kinda what is going on.

You might have fractured or jammed something :-. I double you broke anything because I'm pretty sure you would be able to notice that.
