Alright, so im trying out for our school musical pretty soon, but i have no clue what song i should sing! it has to be a song from another musical! any suggestions?

You could try one of the songs from any of the three High School Musical movies or even from Camp Rock. Those seem to be very popular right now.
Or if you're older and aren't into those, you could try a song from the musical Rent. Those songs are good, too.
It really depends on your vocal ranges and what character you're looking to play because you'll want to try out with a song similar (in vocal ranges) to the type you would be singing in musical your school is performing.
