But, he is really shy, gets nervous around me, and most of his answers to my questions are"yeah".Like he cheeses every time he sees me and everything,so i kno he really likes me. Like i metioned, im his first girlfriend so i have to teach him some things.I'm just wondering how to get him to hold a conversation, and break his shyness. Its cute and all and i like him for who he is(video game nerd) and all. I just need him to come out of his shell, b/c i have been goin out with for about 3 weeks now. And i can be talk-a-tive, and i hate the dead silence on the phone. so yea.lol help me..i want to know him more.

AskAndy answered Thursday November 13 2008, 4:43 pm: For starters 3 weeks is a pretty short time to get opened up with a guy, or anyone for that matter,so cut him some slack and dont push for things too much, to prevent an uncomfortable situation because boys hate that. Video game nerds aren't particulary spontaneous either. Boys don't take hints well so don't be too subtle either! Try going out somewhere, instead of just hanging out at his house or you're house like most people do. Hang with his friends and try group dates so that when you guys are in private, you'll have a lot to talk about. Ask him questions because everybody likes to talk about themselves. You'll get to know him more and get him to elaborate on his answers by asking "how, when, why" and things like that. Don't be afraid to dissagree with him as well and state your opinion. Watch movies or t.v instead of like, making out or playing videogames all the time, which some couples do to avoid really talking. Comment on things that happen or that you see, and talk to him about your life asking for advice or his opinion on things. Listen to music, dance, and just fool around being silly to bring his personality out more. Dare eachother to do silly things, because embarrasment fun and harmless trouble really bring people together by giving you something to laugh about later. Good luck!
