Not only that, but I trust him and can be loyal to him as well. Many people misread "love" and use it and have no idea what it really means. You can't really LOVE somebody you met 10 days ago. You may have love FOR someone, but you can't be spot-on in love with them.
To me, love means that someone has feelings for me. Feelings of passion, heart, loyalty, confidence and trust. It means this person would never do anything to hurt me in any way, shape or form.

As somebody said below, yes "i love you" and "i am in love with you" are totally different. But in the same sense, you can be "in love" and "love" somebody for the same reasons. Love is when you arent selfish, and truly want to see them happy. When you first wake up, you want to know how they are doing, throughout the day, you wanna know how their day is going. You would do anything in your power to protect them, and make them happy. You would sacrifice yourself, if you needed to for them. You wouldnt be able to look at anyone the same way you look at them. You would be attracted to whats outside, but MOST IMPORTANTLY what is inside. You want to know, even the most simple things about them.. such as if they like coffee or milk. Its just a feeling you get of being safe everytime you look at them, and you cannot help but smile. Its amazing, truly.

Have you ever heard the term "I love you, but I'm not "in love with you" ?
well...
what "i love you" means to your significant other that it does not mean to a friend is simply...
"i don't just love you, I'm "in love with you". HUGE DIFFERENCE. It means you'll ignore everyone else anytime "because you only want them". It means that you'll give everything and everyone else up if it only means that you could be left standing with them. It means "truely" being selfless. but most of all, it means that words are only words, so you have no choice but to show them something else." ;) [ BabyMunchie's advice column | Ask BabyMunchie A Question ]

First time i said I love you to my fiance we were in a romantic setting he placed his hand on my cheek and stared me right in the eyes and told me that he loved me and i just new he truely ment it and he says it the same way till this day. its a feeling and you may have said i love you to someone and they said it back but when they truely mean it your get this feeling in your stumoch and in your heart and your kisses are like you spinning and your not even touching the ground. hope my input helped whatever kind of answers you are looking for [ Sweet_LiL_Angel's advice column | Ask Sweet_LiL_Angel A Question ]
