Planning isn't for everyone. It happens. You're not really old enough to get a job right now, but there will be plenty of positions for you.
I don't think you're retarded, however, but I know a lot of the time it can feel that way.
I have a friend that dropped out of high school and just went and got a job and he's doing alright for himself.
You'll be okay. Snagajob.com can hook you up with some hourly jobs in your area and once you have some experience you can get some other kinds of jobs.
Best of luck.

Okay, calm down & breath. You're young, don't try to grow up to fast, or you'll regret it when you're older. You shouldn't worry about stuff like that right now. Take some time to just relax & have fun. Most places won't even hire you until you're 16, anyway.

If you're really desperate for a job, though, you can check & see if there's anywhere that would hire someone your age, or maybe do some volunteer work, or join a group at school.
