Me & my g/f are thinking bout having sex. i wanna fuck her really bad, but I'm scared about getting her pregnent. She sayz she take birth control, but its only for her periods. Does that still work to stop her from getting pregnent?
We talk about it some and like she said that if I'm scared, we can just do it while she is on her period. If we do that, she won't get pregnent right? Its not too messy is it? Should I like nut on her stomach?
The pill in no way protects against STD.
You will want to use a condom for protection.
Make sure she really wants to have sex.
If she is telling you she isn't protected,
perhaps she doesn't want to do it.
Having sex while a girl is on her period
is not going to prevent her from getting
pregnant. Many have gotten pregnant
believing that myth. Yes it would be
very messy indeed.
The withdrawal method also does not work to
prevent pregnancy.
The day after pill was mentioned below.
It is not made to use as birth control.
Do not rely on it as a method of birth
control. It is for emergency use only. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

You can always go to a clinic to get the morning after pill, right?
She's protected for 3 weeks. It's not 100% so that's why you must use a condom if you do not plan to have a child. She can still get pregnant if you do it on her period & I've heard that people like it and that some people don't because it's messy. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
Cassiopea answered Friday October 17 2008, 11:26 pm: She takes BC to help her periods that doesn't mean it isn't only helping that. If you are really afraid you should proably not do it on her period because before and after is when a girl is most fertile so you cannot be for sure that it will work. For most girls BC works just make sure she is taking it every day like she is supposed to. [ Cassiopea's advice column | Ask Cassiopea A Question ]
r_u_blue2 answered Friday October 17 2008, 7:55 pm: Well first of all if you plan on having sex you need to talk more seriously about it. If she is on birth control then she needs to find out what it covers. Even if her birth control does cover everything, you still need to use a condom. Always wear a condom ! Don't be a stupid teenager and get your girlfriend knocked up. I do not suggest doing it during her period.
Razhie answered Friday October 17 2008, 5:33 pm: Just use a condom.
Yes, she can get pregnant if you have sex on her period, and yes, it can be kind of messy.
Her birth control might protect her from pregnancy, or it might not have been perscribed with that degree of protection in mind.
When in doubt, use a condom.
If neither of you are mature enough to walk into a drug store and buy condoms, then you aren't mature enough to be having sex. Period.
And please, don't use terms like 'nut'. It's really difficult to give serious anwsers when you hear the kind of slang 10 year olds use in a question about sex. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
DJzmAgUy426 answered Friday October 17 2008, 5:26 pm: Birth control isn't 100% effective, so she can still get pregnant. She CAN get pregnant while she on her period, and it is quite messy. The ONLY 100% pregnancy and std prevention method is abstinence; the choice not to have sex. Stay in school, and educate yourself. You can't even spell PREGNANT right.
