money order lost? How likely is it to lose a money order in the mail? I bought something off Etsy.com and the person said she didn't receive it after two weeks. So I sent out another one last week, couple days after she said she has yet to get that one. I checked the address several times and she also sent to me in email so I know I didn't send it off somewhere else. So I don't know what to do. I don't have a credit card, paypal, that sort of thing so can't pay that way. I don't really want to send out another one but it seems rude to just cancel the transaction now. She loses money for the listing, right?

Once, maybe.
but twice? I highly doubt it.
Don't be a fool and send any more and just cancel the transaction - let's just say it truly did get lost - it's not your fault anyway. ]
Stop sending money orders. Something isn't
right with this. A money order is no more
likely to get lost than sending a check.
I agree she is scamming you. ]
She could be scamming you; telling you that she hasn't received the money, so you keep sending her money.
Or it could have been truly lost.
Or someone found out that there's money in the envelope. ]
