Brandi_S answered Thursday October 16 2008, 1:35 pm:
They don't know any better, for one reason or another. Sometimes they never know any better, and sometimes they don't want to.
When a person refuses to know any better, that is flat out ignorance.

- They are misinformed
- Past (negative) experiences
- Family views (a child that is brought up in a prejudiced family will probably have the same views as his/her family members do)
- Politics (i.e. war between two countries)
- Culture
- Religion (a lot of very religious people are often prejudice against other religions or beliefs)
- Stereotypes
- Difference of opinions
- Its is an ego-boost for themselves.
