Smoking

Question Posted Tuesday October 7 2008, 10:51 am

Okay, my boyfriend has quit smoking for 2 months now. He keeps saying that if he only has one, he wont be addicted again, but I think that if he has one, he's going to be right back where he was.

If he has a cigarette, will he be addicted? Please help!

If he quit (key word being "QUIT"!!!!), he certainly does NOT need one.
That "one" will lead to a second. and a third. and so on.

hey sweetie. my friend use to smoke and she said she didnt do it anymore, but as soon as someone offers her one or she smells one, she will take any chance to have one again. dont let him have just one because honestly, he will be back to his normal ways. if he still wants one, he is still addicted and the only way to help him get over this is to try and keep him away from people that smoke so he wont be tempted. if you need anything else let me know ♥ lulu.

Hes still addicted now. Its like an
alcoholic is always an alcoholic, even
if they aren't drinking anymore.

You're right in your thinking. Craving
something your addicted to is just part
of quitting. One cigarette won't solve
anything. It could start him smoking again. :)
