Hi! I'm 13/F and i am very avtive. I play basketball, cheerleading, softball, and tennis. I also ride horses.. I strongly believe in being a virgin when I get married.. But that isn't the question here!!! :-) Will being active and riding horses pop my cherry or stretch my hymen or something? Cause I want my husband to believe me when I tell him I'm a virgin... Also, what exactly is masturbation and how and why do people do it? Thanks!!!
People know that these days hymens can be stretched in a variety of ways and just because yours has doesn't mean you aren't a virgin. As for your second question we can't give how-to info. It's best defined as touching, caressing, rubbing one's genitals for pleasurable feelings or orgasm. Why do people do it? They do it for pleasure or because it feels good mostly. They enjoy certain sensations it causes. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]

It's basically when people "pleasure" themselves by rubbing their genitals or any other touch-sensitive areas. People do it because they think it feels good. (For more information go to: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ---OR--- www.coolnurse.com)

Just because it is torn, does not determine one's status of a virgin. I personally think it is a wonderful thing you are waiting until marriage. Being that close to someone, he should believe and trust your word, otherwise no relationship will have a strong foundation without that trust.
If that is not good enough for you or your future husband, there is science. Look into hymen reconstruction (Hymenorrhaphy) which is a surgical restoration of the hymen. I believe this would fall under cosmetic surgery. [ betheexp's advice column | Ask betheexp A Question ]
