facebook help!!

is there i way i can make sure a certain person can not know i have a facebook? for example.. i moved a few years ago and am not currently friends with my friends from my old neighborhood on facebook. i want to be! however, there are people from my past that i do not want to interact with! what im specifically asking is.. if i add a friend lets name her jessica and jessica is friends with amy but i do not want amy to see that i have a facebook. is this possible? im sorry this is so confusing but i didnt know how else to say it lol. thank you so much in advance!! a quick response will really be appreciated

The only way is to block them, but you have to be their friend, then block them.

If you block them they can't see anything , or message you.
