Like the person below said, it all depends on where you live.

I live in Virginia and laws here are very strict. When it comes to drinking especially.

You would get a drunk in public charge. Then you would also get a underage possesion of alcohol charge. [If your underage] Whether you have it in your hand or in your belly the police still write it as underage possession of alcohol. They will also try to make you tell them where you got it from and who bought it. You don't have to tell them, but they'll go easier on you if you give up names. They can't do nothing more extreme if you don't tell though, so don't let them fool you. Also, your parents can get into a lot of trouble too.

I don't reccommend walking around while being drunk. If you do it, please stay at home & be safe.

Yes, you would be arrested for a few reasons.

The first is public intoxication. (You would get in trouble for this even if you were of age.)

The second is underage drinking.

Depending on the situation, the person who provided the alcohol could get into trouble as well.

Hopefully this is a hypothetical question, but if you are drinking underage, please don't go out into public while you're intoxicated. You could get into a lot of trouble. Not that I condone underage drinking, but spend the night at someone's house if you need to.

well it all depends on your area.
where i live, you will get cited (getting a citation for drinkinnn) and be charged. this is if your a minor, now if your between 18-21, im not really sure what the rule is, but i know it gets messy. citations, court, fees, all that. my friend (18) got it and it sucked.
so if you are walkin underrage and a police breathalyzes you, that sucks. its rare, and ive never heard of that happening, except in dewey beach (you can get a wwi - walking while intoxicated...EVEN if your 21+)
so as you see, different places have diffeerent areas.
and its illegal to drink in public.

If you walk through the streets drunk, it doesn't matter if you are underage, you'll still get arrested for drinking in public. If you were underage, you would probably get in more trouble, by your parents at the very least.
