Democratic? Republican? or something else. mmkay well I know that no one really likes to talk about political things because it brings up a lot of contreversy. But I feel like I'm confused with my political party status. So if you could..could you help me by giving me information on all the political parties in the U.S. (like their beliefs and what they live by)? So that way it'll be easier for me to determine which political party I belong to. Thanks so much,

I choose the Republican party. Neither one is that great but the repulican party seems to have higher moral standards like abortion for example. Who would want to vote democratic knowing that Obama stands for abortion rights. If you vote for someone who is for abortion then your helping to promote abortion. You will be held accountable on judgemnt day. ]

Blue dots are democrats. Red dots are republicans. The only green dot is from the Green Party. Libertarian candidates aren't shown, but they would be far center bottom. ]

Don't feel like you have to limit yourself to one particular party if you don't fully share all the beliefs of that party. There are many Americans who are independent, moderate, etc.
Some people choose not to belong to a political party, but they research the candidates and vote on which one they would like to be president anyway. That's so that they can make a decision based on what they think is right for our country, not necessarily just who has the nomination for their political party. ]
You can find information on the different political parties here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
You can also try visiting your local party headquarters. They are always more than willing to give you the information you need to educate yourself.
Remember that many, many Americans fall somewhere in the middle. It's really best to research each candidate and make a decision based on their policies rather than their parties. Just because a candidate is running under a specific party name does not mean (s)he abides by or advocates every party standard. ]
