I've learnt from many many years of using makeup that spending a little money can do WONDERS for your skin and will make you look pretty... not fake and cheap (hooker much?). I'm not saying all covergirl makeup is bad, I don't mind their lipgloss and mascara but when it comes to foundation, powders, eyeliners and eyeshadows, I save up and buy MAC, Makeup Forever, Shiseido (etc) cosmetics instead. If MAC and the others are too overpriced for you, try better pharmacy brands like Rimmel for eyeliners, Revlon for foundations and powder. As for eyeshadow.. pharmacy brands never cut it... xokristabelle answered Friday August 22 2008, 4:53 am: Random, but their face powders and blushes are scented and smell truly disgusting. Don't really like most of their products. The WetSlicks lipgloss (NOT the fruit kind) is good, and so is the LashBlast mascara. That's about it. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]

sin_c_chic answered Thursday August 21 2008, 8:09 pm: I never wore makeup that often because I didn't want to look "fake", and most makeup would dry my skin out. I now wear a little, but I only wear covergirl. I like it because it seems covergirl is all about bringing out your natural beauty as opposed to making you look like someone else. It goes on smooth, it doesn't dry my skin, and I LOVE their mascara!!!! So yes, my vote is with covergirl.
