MERGING TWO PICTURES

okay i want to know how to like put an object into a picture, but making it look real. how do i do this? what programs do i need? for example i want to put a piece of paper into a picture, but i want it to look real. so PLEASE tell me only if you know!

Yeah, you do that with photoshop. You use the lasso tool and select the paper and then hold down ctrl and drag it to the picture you want it in. Then use the eraser to erase the extra that you dragged in with the paper and then use hue/saturation/lighting/contrast/etc. to match the color and the lighting of the picture you put it in. If that makes sense? Sorry

Oh yeah, and you don't have to have the expensive one. You can get Photoshop elements for as little as $40

you can buy it at a store for about $80 or illegally download it.
or you could probably find a trial online try www.downloads.com
