I'm 16 and the boy i'm dating is 17. we're not exactly girlfriend boyfriend, but we like each alot and probably will end up as an item.
Except he's a shy kisser! he doesn't mind hand holding or holding my waist in public ( i love his touch!) but on our second date, I couldn't wait any longer, so i made the first move and gave him a spontaneous french kiss. He was taken aback and later explained he was too shy to kiss in public! I thought kissing between two people were when time stops - everything around you disappears and all that's left is you and the other person. That's how I felt until he pulled awayXD
So how can I encourage him to feel more comfortable kissing? we can start off kissing in a more private place, but where would be suitable to begin? Not either of our houses because we're not allowed haha.
please give any tips you can for me, all will be greatly appreciated! thanks:)
Ask him why he's too shy to kiss in public. Explain to him what you just told us about the whole 'everything disappears and all that's left is you and the other person' thing.
Katlyn answered Sunday August 17 2008, 6:08 am: K you two can go to a park and just sit and kiss and you have to make him realize that its k if he's shy and also that you dont care if hes bad or not and that you like him and if he doesnt kiss you now he's always going to be shy and thats not good just kiss privatly in a park or something and then when he feels good you can try it in public good luck:) [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
