Goodbye gift for boyfriend?

Question Posted Wednesday August 13 2008, 3:12 pm

I need to think of a going-away present for my boyfriend who is going to California for a surfing competition, and right after that college in another city. I need something that he'd actually like or use. Some of his interests are surfing, photography, frisbee and music.

ANY suggestions are helpful, because I don't have a clue...

btw, I have very limited time to think of something

As a guy, I remember one thing my girl did for me that I will always never forget!

How about a romantic picture of yourself smiling at him in a shiny picture frame that he can put on his dresser or desk? Not too big, not small either, maybe about six to nine inches by six to nine inches so he can pack it in his suitcase.

NOT JUST A PICTURE OF YOU... but a REMINDER of you!

What did the two of you like to do the most? Go surfing? Get a picture of you at the beach! Go to music concerts? Get a picture of you at a venue! Dancing? Get a picture of you in your party or dancing dress with a festive background! Did you both like to go to the car races? Get a picture of you at the pit-stop area dressed the way you would look when you went to the races!

I bet he'd really like that if he's really into you!

And good luck!

Get him a Frisbee and decorate it. Make it all about you, so he won't forget =]. Get a disposible camera and take all these pictures of things he likes or special things in your relationship. Example: The spot where you first kissed, he asked you out, first said i love you. Anything. Even take pictures of you! Make him a CD for the trips. Put songs on that are like 'your' song. Get him a mini surfboard from the local hobby lobby, walmart, one you can paint. And decorate it! -- I don't know about that one. lol

but i'm sure you'll like one of these or you can do all.

hope i helped!

You can always make him something!

How about making him a collage of pictures since he likes photography? They can be of the two of you, and things that might only make sense to the two of you. Just a big collage of pictures would be really unique.

Or you can make him a mix cd with all of your/his favorite songs on it. That's always a cute idea. You can even do both ;]
