tattoo ideas
i might be able to get a tattoo when i turn 16 in a few months. i've been thinking about tattoo ideas since i was 14 and i can't really come up with anything. i want something that has like a meaning, any ideas? i was thinking of either getting one on my foot, back of the neck, or under/behind my ear. no butterflies or stars please.
i'm a girl by the way. just throw any ideas out there hah thanks!
or if you know a good website that has tattoo ideas because i haven't found a good one yet.

First off, a tattoo artist that has been doing them for a while and/or knows what they are doing normally will not guarantee a tattoo placed on any of the areas you are thinking of because they are harder places for the ink to stay and you will likely have to have it touched up more than other places.
We used to own a tattoo and piercing shop and my policy was no tattoos placed anywhere clothing wouldn't cover them on anyone under 21 because your ideas change and what you like changes. ANY tattoo you get should be able to be covered by clothing because you don't know what your job will be and you may have a position where tattoos are not allowed to be visible.
As for asking others what they think you should get; tattoos are a PERSONAL choice and if you want it to have meaning then you have to figure out what means something to you. If you don't know what you want and don't know what means something to you then you aren't ready for a tattoo that will be there for the rest of your life. My advice has always been to wear a temp tattoo in the place you plan to get the permanent one for a month--that way you get used to seeing something there and can decide if you really want it there.
My daughter is 17 and has two--one is a butterfly in memory of her grandmother who always said she'd paint butterflies when she got to heaven and the other she just had done Saturday is a superman symbol on her other shoulder blade because she is a superman fanatic and always has been.

I actually like these too tattoos,one is in white ink and it says "breathe" on the wrist,it meaninds like if live gets a little to hectic or your getting all worked up about something you can just look at the tatoo and remember to just breathe.Another one i like is "only god can judge me" which you pretty much get the meaning behind it,that's what my name actually means too :) or you could get something that represent a chapter in your life,just like what angelina jolie does. You could get your name or nickname behind your neck,or a single word like faith,destiny or something like that.Or a little foot tattoo it meanings like how your progressing through life,or making or own footsteps.You could also do your favorite saying,or a name or word in another language which i thinhk is cute.I like this one la bella vita which means a "the beautiful life".You could also do a tattoo of a symbol of something you love like for example,if you love music do a music note behind your ear or something.Or do a title of your favorite song that has alot of meaning to you.

i spent like half an hour on finding tattoos haha i got caught up in it,that's all i could really find.It would be better if like i knew what you liked and were interested in but hopefully you'll like some of the ideas showed you and came up with :) if you have anymore questions just leave one in my inbox.
