I personally don't really use the restroom too terribly much, so it's just a matter of personal preference... but if you pee like every thirty minutes then it's definitely fine to leave it in. You have three holes 'down there' one of which is where your pee comes from, one is where your tampon goes and where the penis is inserted during intercourse, and the third is what your 'waste' comes out of. The pee does not come in contact with the tampon thus it can not be soaked up from the tampon. It is not unsanitary as we use the bathroom much more frequently than we need to change our tampons, so that would be a quite a hassel. In short, no you do not have to take your tampon out to pee :)
jealousyxo answered Tuesday August 5 2008, 3:41 pm: well usually you have too.Since a tampon is used to absorb blood(it's a liquid) so is pee so it would soak up on the tampon. It's also very unsanitary.I would change your tampon eveytime you use the bathroom.
