my mom and my boyfriend think that i dont care and im just trying to balance my boyfriend and my family and my friends and everything. And now my mom says i cant even sign up for dance unless i get high honors on the first quarter in all my classes.i know im not going to cause she moved me up from the academic classes i was recomended for to all honors classes.and even if i do make it i cant do competition starting in november when she'll let me sign up
i dont know what to do, advice anyone?

Maybe give some free advice about: Families? beautevil78 answered Monday July 28 2008, 1:26 pm: well then give up dance to make your mom happy and do your best in honors i know hard heartless that sounds (i had to give up gymnastics to make my mom happy) but that may be the only way to solve this and try to spend the time you would be in dance with your boyfriend instead so you can balance everything you can always join dance the next time if its still what you want to do or you could talk to your mom about letting you go to night school for your honors classes like once a week and doing dance the rest or something try to negotiate if it doesnt work out then do your best to not throw a fit cause she might change her mind if she thinks your mature enough to handle everything [ beautevil78's advice column | Ask beautevil78 A Question ]

It's that college degree that will outlast your dance career. And it's your moneymaker in the case (god forbid) something happens and you can't dance anymore.
So take some time off and focus on your academics. That way when you get back to the world of dance, you'll be better without the guilt of school on your head!
