I just started my birth control and I've taken it for 2 days now. LAst night I had sex with my bf and the condom slipped off. It's the very end of my period and I've taken my pills right those 2 days. Also I followed the instructions on the condom box that says what to do if this situation occurs. What are the chances I'm pregnant?
Additional info, added Wednesday July 16 2008, 4:57 pm: Also it says online that if you take your pills before your period ends then the pill comes into immediate effect but if not you have to wait 7 days. I started the pill on the 6th day of my period. . Want to answer more questions in the Sexual Health and Reproduction category? if you weren't taking birth control at all.
It takes about 30 days to be sure you are
safe from pregnancy after you start the pill.
Don't panic. If you miss your period take
a home pregnancy test. You can also call
your doctors office and speak with his
nurse about your options. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

If so, the chances of you being pregnant are higher than if he didn't. Either way, don't stress out. Stress causes periods to come later, & i'm sure you don't want that :]
