Actually, it's from the bacteria in your mouth. I had the same problem a few weeks ago & I went to the doctor and they said that it was just from bacteria. They said brush my teeth at least 3 times a day (NO LESS) and when you brush them brush your tongue!! You'll notice it all starting to come off the more time you spend brushing your tongue. Promise! ♥

Ok it is nothing serious so you can relax. You may be eating healthy but your body isn't recieving the right amount fo vitamins and such. A way to truly get rid of this and make your tongue completely pink is to go to rite aide, walmart, k-mart etc. and get those fruity pills, they are either flintstone ones or scooby-do. Within a couple of weeks, your tongue should look normal.

i went through a health class and we discussed this. it was awhile ago so i don't remember what's its called but to fix it they have these tongue scrapers, you can get them at a local drug store and you just scrape your tongue and it will come off. i've heard from someone that a spoon works too, but i don't have personal experience with that one so i couldn't tell you.

**oops, sorry i didn't see that you said you already tried that, hmm have you tried crest white mouthwash? it works really good for me it cleans my tongue really good, i don't really know what else to suggest =/ i hope that works for ya.
