This will moisten your skin and get rid of the rough dry darken areas on your skin. I have eczema and my elbows and knees get darker too. you should always consult your doctor to have your skin assesed before using new creams such as cortisone on your skin to rule out the possibilities of any other conditions that may be causing a darkening of your knees(skin). Advicelady6798 answered Thursday July 10 2008, 8:25 pm: Your best bet is to go to your nearest Walgreens, CVS or other drug store and buy a cream that lightens dark spots on the skin. You'll find it in the same area that that has all the other facial creams, like Oil of Olay, Biore, etc. Look for one that specifically says it will lighten dark patches of skin. I know it's out there, because I have seen it, I just cannot remembe the name of the product.
