is it really right for him to do this?

Question Posted Thursday July 10 2008, 6:06 pm

Yesterday i told my bf i had cybersex the day he buried his grandpa. so i told him that he could have sex with this girl that liked him. So now he is at a hotel having sex with a girl for revenge because i said he could do it. Is it really fair for him to do it? Did he have to listen to me and actually get revenge?

Why would you even tell him you did that? You didn't tell him to be honest and truthful; you told him because you WANT your relationship to fail and you're selfish.

You then go on to reinforce what I just said by allowing your boyfriend to have sex with some random girl. Normal people do not do this; you are not a normal person because of some heavy emotional trauma you experienced as a child. Get extensive therapy and try not to act like a bitch in the mean time.

EDIT:

Thank you for verifying what I said above, yet somehow being able reject my advice on grounds that I "called you a bitch" and made you feel bad. Boo hoo. However, contrary to what you want to believe, I never called you a bitch; I told you to not act like one.

Why would you say its okay? Thats taking it way to far. Cyber is like NOTHING compared to the real thing. You can't blame him, so don't be mad at him beacues you basicly did this yourself. No, he shouldn't have listened to you and gone and did this, but if a girl is going to tell him its okay and basicly let him, why not? You shouldn't have told him that, but now he knows so its just about miving on from this. Don't make this same mistake.

Why on earth would you tell your boyfriend he could go and have sex with a girl?!

You had cyber sex. While that was still not okay since you have a boyfriend, there is a HUGE difference between cyber sex and actual sex!

What would happen if your boyfriend got this girl pregnant. Does this girl know that it's only a one time thing? She might think he likes her and become emotionally attached or something.

Did either of you consider the effects this could have on that poor girl?!

Now, to actually get to your question, NO! He definitly should not have listened to you. It's a bit too late for that, though.

You two are not mature enough to be in this relationship. You need some time apart to think about how immature and hurtful you are both being towards each other.

I'm sorry that this may come across as me being rude. I don't mean to be, but you really need to hear this.
While I agree with you that he is wrong in having gone to have sex with this girl, I feel you are in the wrong, also. You never should have suggested it.

You two need some time apart. If a guy is willing to go sleep with another girl, he obviously doesn't care for you.
If you are telling him to do it, you don't seem to be very secure with yourself...

i think that maybe you guys should have taken a break, but no he should not have had sex with another girl just as much as you should not have had "cybersex"

you guys really need to break this off for awhile because you both will be bringing these issues up in your relationship, and you'll both be unhappy.

K no offence but that was a stupid thing to do you shouldnt have told him he could have sex with a girl that likes him and if you told him to do it and he did it then you cant blame him and you two obviously dont belong together.
