you poor girl,im so sorry to hear about your fathers loss. It's awful too see your mother going through the same thing.I found a site that has a ton of children who have alcoholic parents talk about their experiences and help out one another.[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) also found a website with information about this subject with many questions you might have [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) that website there is a phone number if you need to talk to someone or feel liek you have no one to turn too 1-800-668-6868 that's the number right there.Hang in there girl, don't feel like your alone you have a ton of people who love and care about you :D

You need to just talk to her- next time she picks up a drink (the first one) say please don't drink & then she'll ask and so forth.
you need to explaint o her your fears, everything. you can't hide
don't be afraid of her being mad- becuase you could save her life.
if you think she has a problem go to a local aa group.
my dad goes to them, he actualy runs one now..its changed his life
thep eoplethere are nice, adn don't judge, even offer to go with her... just to "test the waters"

you arent the only one. you have an alcoholic parent and there are these places where kids like you can go and talk to other people about it. obviously, you cant sit your mom down and talk about it because she wont admit she has a problem. alcoholics never do. just go to your local church or whatever and ask about youth groups or search up "kids with alcoholic parents youth groups" or something along those lines. or just go talk to a counselor.
sorry i couldnt be of any more help, but i have no clue where you live and i dont know your lifestyle or anything. im really sorry you have to deal with that. my friend goes through the same exact thing and i never know what to say to her. :(
take care. ]
