I think it is. I mean, I had one of them and it was the best one I've ever used! But I accidentally broke it =/ But I think it is. It just depends. ♥

No. I bought a chi and a GVP hair straightener. The chi was $130, the GVP was $70.

The GVP is much better at making my hair straight and it doesn't damage it as much as the chi.

They come in different colors, toooo. hehe.

It is REALLY good, but it is extreamly damaging to your hair. I would go with this straightner only if you put protection on your hair.

the chi is without a doubt worth the money. I have used EVERY other kind of straightener only to come to find out that for TOO many years i was destroying my hair. My hair dresser told me time and time again i needed to invest in the Chi straightener, but i just figured it wasnt worth spending all that money on. But now i wish i would have YEARS ago. because my hair has made a 100% change. it's soft, shiny, and you can even see how much healthier it was. I used the wet-to-dry straightener for a long time, those are the absolute worst things for your hair. Because, the moisture is supposed to be out of your hair before you apply the hot iron to your hair, or it will literally fry your hair. The Chi works to close your cuticles while giving you a shinier, healthier, straighten. INVEST IN THE CHI!!!!! i promise, you'll be 100% satisfied.

the chi's really good, but i doubt it's worth the money. i'd try the wet to straight iron from remington. i have a friend with REALLY curly hair & it works great for her. plus, it's only about $30.
