Why do people cheat?
If you are someone who has ever cheated on a partner, why did you do it?
Not passing judgments here, I just want some insight.

Usually you just love the attention. You feel like you're irresistable. At first. Most people (not all, believe me) feel ridiculously bad afterward. But the thing is usually that you're so insecure that you need the attention of more then one person. Of course there is the rare case when you're dating someone (like in the movies) and then you find someone else that you fall in love with.

Usually people cheat because they are not satisfied with their partner & aren't getting what they need/want out of the current relationship they're in.
I've cheated before, i'm really not 100% sure why I did it & probably never will be.
there's not always reasons behind it.

Well I cheated because I was drunk. I was playing around with this guy, my friends brother, and I started to think of my BF and yelled stop stop stop, and started to cry. I really didn't mean to cheat, but I did, so you know. But I haven't since, and I have a new bf that I have been with for almost 2 years and I would never cheat again, its not worth it. =D

People who cheat normally aren't happy in the relationship that they're in.
The only time I cheated, I was like-10.
But I've heard of people cheating just to get revenge. Which is stupid, but there are people out there who do it. Sometimes they do it because in the heat of the moment, they just do it because they can. Some people do it on purpose to get rid of their partner, some do it because they really just aren't happy. Or if they're in a long-distance relationship and need someone to kiss, hug, and do other stuff with.

I cheated once, and I still regret it.
The only reason I did it was cause he wasn't paying any attention to me, and whenever I suggested breaking up, he'd make an effort for a week or two.
It sounds stupid, but back then it seemed to make sense.
But I will never cheat again. I would hate to be cheated on, so it'd be hypocritical to cheat on others.

normaly people cheat because they are not happy with the person they are with but love or not love them. and other cheat because they want more in their realtionship. They what to have two people or more people in their lives to make it seems like they are king or queen and can have anyone they want. most people cheat because they find it fun and don't care who they hurt, others just wonder into it for any reason. people cheat for their own reasons, i have never cheated on any one but i can tell you looking over my life i can say that i really had all the options to go and cheat but i was blind to what i really wanted and than it was to late, that another story people cheat because they want to make the most of every realtionship that comes along to them. but that's just my though....
